​I have loved to tell stories for as long as I can remember. Storytelling is what drew me to art in the first place. Whether that story comes through illustrations, or through the way that a portrait can capture a unique spark of personality, each piece, like each person, has a story to tell.

Portraits are one of my favorite things to paint. I enjoy taking the time to see and discover another person, and to watch the piece gradually come to life.
